Grandview is a scenic 70 minute drive from Cairns.
Travelling from Cairns via Gordonvale.
Take the Atherton Tablelands turnoff at Gordonvale. Travel 40 klms along the Gillies Highway and take the Malanda/Lake Eacham turnoff — turn left at the Lake Eacham Roadhouse. Travel 12 klms to Malanda and take the Innisfail turnoff — turn left — Malanda Dairy Centre and Dairy Farmers Factory on the right. Travel 8 klms along the Malanda–Millaa Millaa Rd until you reach Tarzali. Just after the 70 kilometres/hour sign turn left into Hogan–Hosie Rd (Grandview sign on the corner). Travel along Hogan–Hosie Rd and turn left into Hogan Rd (Grandview sign and a brightly painted bus shelter on the corner). Travel approximately 300m along Hogan Rd and you will find Grandview on the right. (Grandview sign)
Travelling from Innisfail.
Take the Atherton Tablelands turnoff 5 klms north of Innisfail and travel 70 klms along the Palmerston Highway (through East Palmerston & Millaa Millaa) until you reach Tarzali. Just after the Roundyard Store/Tavern on your right, turn right into Hogan–Hosie Rd (Grandview sign on the corner). Travel along Hogan–Hosie Rd and turn left into Hogan Rd (Grandview sign and a brightly painted bus shelter on the corner). Travel approximately 300m along Hogan Rd and you will find Grandview on the right. (Grandview sign)
Travelling from Atherton.
From Mareeba travel to Atherton along the Kennedy Highway. Just prior to entering the Central Business District (CBD) of Atherton you will cross the railway line and come to a roundabout. Travel straight through the roundabout and travel through the CBD (the Kennedy Highway becomes Main Street). You will come to another roundabout (McDonalds on the right and Australia Post on the left) turn left here into Robert Street (this is the continuation of the Kennedy Highway). Stay on this road and from Atherton travel 4 klms along the Kennedy Hwy and take the Innisfail/Malanda turnoff (Mobil service station on your right just before the turnoff). Travel 16 klms to Malanda and take the Innisfail turnoff — turn right (Malanda Dairy Centre/Dairy Farmers Milk Factory is on the left). Travel 8 klms along the Malanda–Millaa Millaa Rd until you reach Tarzali. Just after the 70 kilometres/hour sign turn left into Hogan–Hosie Rd (Grandview sign on the corner). Travel along Hogan–Hosie Rd and turn left into Hogan Rd (Grandview sign and a brightly painted bus shelter on the corner).
